The Dutch Owlbeard is thought to be the oldest breed in Holland! This ancient breed is still relatively rare considering they were almost wiped out in the 1900s. We have Silver, Gold & Lemon spangled colors on our homestead and when ordering this breed, you will get a chance or all three colors! The are JUMBO white egg layers and lay about 5 eggs a week. This breed is a ton of fun and have a great sense of humor! Whenever I am working in their run or coop, they will jump on my back or shoulder to take a ride. It is an added bonus that they are eye candy!!
