Terms & Conditions – Hatching Eggs

1. Nature of the Product

Hatching eggs are a perishable, biological product. Many factors beyond our control—including incubation methods, handling after delivery, environmental conditions, and individual buyer experience—affect hatch results.

Because of this, we do not guarantee hatch rates.

2. Fertility & Hatch Rate Disclaimer

We take great care to maintain healthy breeding flocks and collect, store, and pack eggs properly and with great care! We test fertility regularly! However:

  • Shipping can cause damage or internal disruption not visible externally

  • Incubation methods and equipment vary widely

By purchasing hatching eggs, you acknowledge and accept that hatch success is not guaranteed.

3. Shipping & Handling

  • Eggs are packed carefully to minimize damage during transit

  • Once shipped, responsibility transfers to the carrier

  • We are not responsible for delays, rough handling, or temperature exposure during shipping

We recommend allowing eggs to rest point-down for 12–24 hours after arrival before incubating.

We also recommend hatching shipped eggs in the Maticoopx without using the egg turner for the first 5-7 days to help air cell reattachment. .

4. Refunds & Replacements

Due to the nature of hatching eggs:

  • No refunds on orders. No exceptions. 

  • If eggs arrive clearly broken, contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photos of:

    • The damaged eggs

    • The original shipping box and packaging

5. No Returns

Hatching eggs cannot be returned once shipped.

6. Buyer Responsibility

The buyer assumes all responsibility for:

  • Proper incubation equipment and techniques

  • Compliance with local and state laws regarding poultry ownership

  • Biosecurity and flock management

We are not responsible for losses related to illness, death, or poor hatch outcomes after delivery.

7. Live Animal Disclaimer

Hatching eggs are not live animals at time of sale, but are intended to potentially develop into live poultry. All risks associated with incubation and rearing are assumed by the buyer.

8. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is strictly limited to the purchase price of the eggs.
We are not responsible for:

  • Incidental or consequential damages

  • Loss of time, equipment, feed, or future livestock value
